FORT LEE, Va. – Soldiers from the Army’s 54th Quartermaster Company will receive a warm welcome from family and friends at a ceremony here Aug. 5 when they return from their six-month deployment to Southwest Asia in support of Operation Freedom’s Sentinel.

WHO:  54th Quartermaster Company

WHEN:  7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 5 (time subject to change; media should plan to arrive 45 minutes early)

WHERE:  Clark Fitness Center, Fort Lee

The 54th Quartermaster Company is one of the Army’s only two active duty mortuary affairs units, which are both based here.
