FORT LEE, Va. – Media are invited to attend a living history here Saturday demonstrating World War I soldiers training at Camp Lee.

WHAT: WWI Camp Lee Living History

WHO: Open to the public

WHEN: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., Saturday, September 16

WHERE: Museum Complex

Camp Lee was constructed to train up the 80th Division of the National Army for service in WWI and this event will consist of interactive living history displays, lectures and exhibits.

In addition, tours of Fort Lee’s WWI trenches will be conducted at noon, 1 p.m. and 2 p.m.

Closing out Fort Lee’s centennial events, the WWI Living History is free and open to the public.
